10 Horses to Follow from the Spring

Ceolwulf – Not hard this one, but I think he could be the heir apparent to the best horse in Australia, Via Sistina. Love his turn of foot. Could be anything.

Treasurethe Moment – Oaks winners don’t normally go on to great heights but I think this filly could be different. Love the way she travels and the way she goes through the line. She has a chance to make it.

Fancify – Has put together some nice ratings and keeps lifting the bar. Put a jockey on her and I think she ends up a G1 horse.

Give Me Space – Bit off-Broadway but this Qld galloper was in more trouble than the early settlers at Doomben on Saturday and picked himself up to win. That win came on the back of a scintillating maiden win. Group horse at the minimum.

Pisanello – Bit of recency bias here, but the winner of the last race at the Flemington Carnival is a horse of promise. Never in the right part of the track, but showed a savage acceleration. Good horse.

She’s Bulletproof – Exploded at the Valley. Has always shown ability but looks like she is about to realise her potential.

Niance – They rarely rate better than she did at Caulfield on Caulfield Cup day. If she stays sound, then a G1 beckons.

Changing Colours – Was scratched during Cup Week, but this is a horse who has really good ability. Likely to work through it’s grades.

Rich Dottie – Returned in 2nd preparation with very impressive win. Has great early speed and can win better races.

Alma Rise – A horse who is a work in progress. Has always shown glimpses but it will come together one prep. Next prep may be it.pressive on Friday night at the Valley. Stakes horse.
